A permanently installed Generac home backup generator protects your home automatically. It runs on natural gas or liquid propane (LP) fuel and sits outside just like a central air conditioning unit. Automatic Standby Generator

QUESTION? Who controls your home? Who decides whether you have enough power to run your critical power needs during an emergency? If you have an automatic standby generator, the answer is you!

Q. What types of generator services to you provide?

A. We have many options ranging from turnkey installation of an automatic power generator for your entire home to a simple power inlet for your own portable generator.  We can work with any budget and goal to find the right fit for you.

Q. What is included in a turnkey installation?

A. We will purchase and deliver your generator, install your critical power loads, and connect to your gas supply.  Once everything is complete, we will have a certified generator specialist start your generator and set your generator run cycle and power settings. These back-up generators come on automatically when your power goes out and turn themselves off when your power is restored. They automatically turn-on once a week to exercise the motor and only need maintenance once a year.

Q. Can a turnkey installation power my whole home?

A. Yes, but it depends on the size of your home and the size of generator you want to purchase. We can install an automatic generator large enough to power your entire home or just big enough to handle your most important circuits. The main difference between a turnkey installation and a basic installation is the turnkey generator comes on automatically during a power outage.

Q. What is a basic generator installation?

A. For basic generator installations we install a power inlet for your portable generator to plug into during a power outage.  Then we install a manual transfer switch in your electrical panel so you can safety and easily switch from the power grid to your generator.  During a power outage you would plugin your portable generator, start it up, and turn the transfer switch to "generator mode."  We can install transfer switches that manage your entire home or just your most important circuits.

Q. What brand generated do you install?

A. We are an authorized Generac dealer.

Q. Do I need to have a portable generator to get the basic setup?

A. Nope, we can install the generator setup and you can purchase a generator at any time. All you have to do is plug in your new unit.

Q. Do you provide annual maintenance plans?

A. Yes.

Q. Will you handle installing the gas line to the generator?

A. Yes, our partner company, David Gray Plumbing, will install your new gas line and make sure that its sized correctly to provide enough gas volume to your generator. Installing the right size gas line with proper connectors is very important to the proper function of your generator and a poorly installed gas line will prevent your generator from starting.
